WWW Wednesday // April 20th

Welcome to WWW Wednesday, a book meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words where you state what you’re currently reading, what you just read, and what you plan on reading. I am such a slow reader, that I cannot possibly do this each week, so it’ll only appear when I actually have something to say, like this week!

What Are You Currently Reading?

Literally last night, I began reading Passenger by Alexandra Bracken. I was at work, minding my own business (but also secretly browsing the YA section) and came across this book, in which I had NO IDEA we sold! I bagged it straight away, and dived in on the bus home. I’m not too sure what it’s about, but I like it that way. I loved The Darkest Minds trilogy so I don’t doubt that this’ll be just as awesome!

What Have You Finished Reading?

I finished Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare a day or two ago, and, while I didn’t love it, it was still fairly enjoyable. This is the final book in The Infernal Devices trilogy, telling the story of Shadowhunters in Victorian England. Bit of a long one, especially when you’re not overly keen. But, I wrote all my thoughts about it in a review on this blog!

What Are You Planning To Read Next?

A few days ago I realised I’d pretty much read all the books I owned. Crazy, right?! And so, I went on a little book-borrowing spree from the library and now have a few on the way (they have to be delivered from other libraries…bit of a rigmaroll). One in particular I’m looking forward to is Red Rising by Pierce Brown. I don’t know whether it’s the hype, but even my supervisor loved it. I also don’t know if it counts as adult fiction, but if it does, I’m looking forward to getting into some adult sci-fi!
