WWW Wednesday // May 11th

Welcome to WWW Wednesday, a book meme hosted by Taking On A World Of Words where you have a little chat about what you’re currently reading, what you just read, and what you plan on reading.

What Are You Currently Reading?

COVER - Valentina by S. E. Lynes (1)

While I have recieved ARCs from work, I have never been personally offered to be sent one by a publisher, and so when I recieved an email from BlackBird Books, asking whether I would be interested in reading one of their upcoming releases, I jumped at the chance! Valentina is the the debut novel by S.E Lynes to be released on July 1st. It’s a psychological thriller based in the remote areas of Scotloand. I’m not even 100 pages in and the story is already chilling!

What Have You Finished Reading?

I read Anna and The French Kiss and Lola and The Boy Next Door so long ago that it was finally time to get back into the world of Stephanie Perkins. While cutesy, contemporary, teen, hetero-love has never really been my thing, I’ve always loved these books. Anything set in Paris can sometimes get a five stars for me, and Isla and The Happily Ever After was no exception. A review for this read will be coming up soon!

What Are You Planning To Read Next?

I feel so silly saying Red Rising by Pierce Brown again, but I still haven’t got around to it! I’m so excited to read it, a lot of people I trust have said it’s fantastic and I really don’t want to miss out. I refuse to pick up another book until I’ve read this one!
