About

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet, Hollieblog.com! I blog about books, travelling, and the journey to getting my first novel published. I also like to blog about topics close to my heart, such as mental health and LGBTQ+ issues. Sometimes I blog about things that have nothing to do with any of the things I just mentioned. Blogging is like that sometimes.

I started blogging back in 2014, after creating a ‘blog’ as part of a project during university. It turned from a bookish tumblr to the fully established blog you’re reading right now. I wanted something that was all my words and pictures, rather than just reblogs of other people’s work. My blog is now my child who I take care for and nurture 24/7 while also pursuing a career in digital marketing, writing that previously mentioned novel, and figuring out how I can move to Scandinavia without going broke.

I review for fun and on request. You can reach me at hollieblog@outlook.com, or on any of my social medias that I list below all of my posts. If you are requesting for me to review a specific book, I would really appreciate a link to the book’s Goodreads page, or a short blurb. I am unable to answer all emails, but I read everything I receive and will try to get back to you as soon as I can. If you haven’t heard anything back in a while, unfortunately I cannot fulfil your request. I do not accept requests to review non-fiction or middle grade, apologies!

Thanks for checking out my blog!
